Millions of pounds of unpaid capital allowances are sitting unclaimed in the Treasury's coffers. This is not a tax avoidance strategy. You
have a legal right to capital allowances that may be locked in your
freehold property. Who can benefit?Any business or indiviudal who has purchased a commercial property
in the past 15 years. The vast majority of commercial property owners are under-claiming
capital allowances. How does it work?Capital allowances cannot be claimed for expenditure on property. Our experts carry out a comprehensive survey to identify any qualifying items that have not previously been claimed. While every case is different, we hope to identify additional capital allowances of an average of 20% - 35% of the freehold cost. We take care of all the paperwork and admin (we can liaise with your
existing accountants). How do we do it?We work with a dedicated specialist capital allowances company. We carry out retrospective, current year, and new build capital allowance claims, both for individuals and companies in relation to commercial properties right across the commercial sector. Most retrospective capital allowance claims that we handle lead to a significant tax refund for the client. We can also advise vendor clients prior to the sale of business assets,
or we act for the purchaser in order to maximise their capital allowance
position. What about fees?Firstly, if your property meets our qualifying criteria (and most property does), we carry out a survey at our own risk. On the rare occasion that a claim is not commercially viable, you have nothing to pay. Our fees are based on a percentage of the claim we identify. Smaller claim = smaller fee. To summarise, you have no risk and we do all the work - so call me, Alex Redmond, now on 0845 652 5220 and see if your property qualifies.
